About my life and career

Well, I Jatin Soni belongs to Ahmedabad, India. I have been working since 2003 in the field of media and animation. My areas of works are 3d, motion graphics, film making, web design and development etc. During this time of career I had worked with many studios and organization and got chance to improve my quality time by time and got great experience. I had also worked for my own clients’ across the world.

I belong to middle class family and was not able to afford all training expenses for film-media and advance 3d training. So I had joined short term training in computer graphics. However I was not satisfied with the training and was seeking for advanced training which was not possible for me. Eventually I started to learn myself with lots of research, hard work and effort to achieve my goal. I was working almost 18hrs in a day to achieve my goal. After so much effort and hard work I had gotten my very first job without any pay. I had accepted that and company started my pay after 2 months rather they would start after 6 months. After reaching certain stage I had started to learn toward my other interest of film and media. I did lots or research and learnt from internet (thanks to all of them who made tutorials and help me directly or indirectly) about making a film. After few years I got a camera and start some photography and shooting for learning purpose and once I got confidence with my ability to work for film I have started to make a documentary film first. With lots of research and hard work, I have finished my first documentary film on 20th March 2011. I must say thanks to Hanshini and David Humphreys to help me lot during the film making. Hanshini help me lot during entire film making process from start to end, while David help me to correct my script which is very much appreciated.

This was my first achievement and moved forward to achieve new target. I am too much keen or would say hungry of knowledge and always believe in perfection. In future I want to become a director and I have confidence to reach there. One day I will make full length live action and animation film.

I am also much experienced with graphics and web design & development and love to do work in this area as well. So here below you can see my all skills, primary skills and secondary skills.

Contribution to the industry

I always like to help other people and ready to share my knowledge to needy person. With this motive I have started Pixel and Grain – CG Community discussion board and trying to help needy people by replying those questions as much as possible. I had also given online free training to the needy people.
